Course Overview

FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification 22000) is a globally recognized standard for food safety management systems. It provides a framework for organizations in the food industry to ensure that they meet international food safety requirements.

FSSC 22000 is based on the ISO 22000 standard, which outlines the general requirements for food safety management systems, and integrates HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles for identifying and controlling food safety hazards. Additionally, FSSC 22000 includes additional requirements specific to food manufacturers, such as sector-specific prerequisite programs (PRPs), that help ensure comprehensive food safety management across the entire supply chain..
