Course Overview

Organizations have a social responsibility regarding the environment within which they operate. This requires sound environmental management. This is because of their impact on the environment through their operational activities, products and services. ISO 14001 has been written to be applicable to all types and sizes of organizations. The overall aim of ISO 14001 is to support environmental protection and prevention of pollutions in balance with socio-economic needs.

Course objectives

This course is designed to enable participants to understand, establish, implement and maintain environmental management systems based on ISO 14001:2015.

Target groups

All personnel who need an understanding of environmental management, or those involved with the implementation, management and evaluation of an environmental management systems.

Course duration

The course duration is 3-5 days that includes class room presentations, practical group exercises, , role plays and examination.
